To do well in this challenge, you will need a number of tools to help you out.
As I’m a big fan of open or free software, you will have them on top of the list.

The only one thing that is almost mandatory is to have a broadband connection.
Part of the training will be delivered with video, and those files can excess 30Mb. Make sure that you have a good connection, and if not you will have to borrow it from someone that has it.

The difficulty of collecting marketing ideas is that you have to get started first.

Visiting stores and looking around, is a good way, but we have other choices. One of them is to look into your hobbies, or things that you have affinity and see what needs you can fulfil:

    One thing that surprised me when I started with internet marketing is the number of marketers that talk about combating negativity and how to raise your motivation. It is very common for example that a seminar will start with a pep talk, to get your energy flowing before getting into business.
Now days I’m convinced that it is necessary to clear your mind from other issues if you want to attain your goals. Marketing is an intellectual exercise to be done whole heartily.

This week, Ed sent out an email with subject “30 Day Challenge Warm Up Begins”,
telling us, basically to go out, and start collecting ideas.

“Marketing Radar” and Marketing Mindset are part of the same skills set that we will be cultivating during next month.
To turn on your radar you need to look around and see what real people are doing, buying, reading and talking about,
then translate them into products ideas.
